At this point in the course we had to choose something we had already written, and revamp it in some way. The new piece was to have a different purpose and a different publication medium than the original. I decided to focus on a traumatic personal experience I went through in seventh grade, a topic I've written about multiple times before, and this time focus more on how it affected my relationship with my family.
