After we redirected an old essay to a new purpose, our next task was to transform some part of this into a different media form. Keeping with the theme of changes in family relationships during my traumatic experience, I decided to interview my family. During the interviews, I found that their responses didn't always line up with my expectations, so I created a video that uses a TED talk focused on memory to explore and explain this disconnect between our experiences and our memories.
